Let's start with something light: If you were throwing a dinner party and had to invite 10 notable individuals (alive, deceased, political, historical, etc.) who would you invite? Indulge by telling why some are so interesting to you.
Here's mine in no particular order of importance:
Steven Spielberg- Simply put, he and George Lucas changed movie making in the last century
Steve Jobs-Perseverence. If a company was every meant to fail, it was Apple but he believed.
Malcolm Gladwell-Author of The Tipping Point and Blink among others
Daniel Pink-Author of Drive and A Whole New Mind. Every employer should read Drive and give up the stick and carrot act.
Michelle Obama-Grace under pressure. It can't be easy.
Hillary Clinton-Like her or not, she has served this country well.
Martin Luther King Jr.-With personal and family threats, he moved this country forward and strived for "liberty and justice for all."
Jesus
Jeffrey Sachs-Columbia University Professor, Author of The End of Poverty
Winston Churchill
Alfred Hitchcock-No one made a thriller or mystery like Hitchcock. The first time I say Psycho and realized that Norman Bates was his own mother, I screamed.
